The most interesting part of this class award goes to
blogging. It is interesting to see the prompt for each one. The most boring/
useless part of this class would have to be treasure words. I hate them because
I won’t ever use them. The hardest I laughed in this class was when Lang gave
his speech about our awful president who hasn’t done anything good for us and
makes us eat chicken every day. It was funny because it was very factual. The
thing that I learned that will be most useful in the real world is speaking. This
will help me when I run for president. The best thing about brigs as a teacher
is that he understood my office and sports jokes. I like this because I like
the office and sports. The thing you can do to make this class better is to get
rid of treasure words because they’re pointless.

Week 7A - What's In A Name?
“From a surname which was originally derived from a place
name which meant "ash tree town."” I don’t really mind my name. I’m
not sure why I am named Ashton because there is no one else in my family named
Ashton. The name that really seems to fit me is BAAKO because it
means first born in African slang. If I could do it over and choose a
new name I would choose the name DeShawn. Whenever I think of someone named
DeShawn, I think of someone kinda like me. It also sounds kinda ghetto and
people tend to think of me as a ghetto person, a little rough around the edges. I have been told many times that I look like the kind of person they would call DeShawn.

Week 5A - My Heart Belongs to Hogwarts/Narnia/Middle Earth
If I could go to any fictional world I wanted to then I would
go live in Scranton Pa. and work at Dunder Mifflin. They are a paper company. First
I would like to meet the boss, Michael Scott. Next I would go to the sales
department and introduce myself to Dwight K Schrute and Jim Halpert. After I was
done at sales I would love to go meet the accountants: Kevin Malone, Oscar Martinez,
and Angela Martin. Kevin is hilarious and I would spend a lot of time with him.
After that I would meet my favorite character, Creed Bratton. He works in
quality assurance but doesn’t have a clue what he does. His brain is fried from
all the drugs he has done so he is very funny.
Week 4A - Dollar Dollar Bills Y'all!
If I was given 5,000,000 dollars to spend on whatever I wanted
the first thing I would do is buy myself and my dad season tickets to IU
basketball and Notre Dame football. Then I would get a sweet new car. Next I would
build something similar to Cook Hall which is where the Indiana basketball team
practices. They have a basketball court, weight room, and even hot tubs and ice
baths. Finally I would connect a huge house to that and put a bowling alley
inside of the house. I would have a lot of nice stuff if I were given 5,000,000
dollars.
Week 6A - Unanswerable Questions
The first murderer ever was Cain. He murdered his brother
Abel. It is written in the bible in Genesis 4. Cain was in charge of
cultivating the land and Abel was a shepherd. They both made sacrifices to
God. Cain gave Him some of the fruit of
the land that he grew. Abel sacrificed some of his firstborn of his flock. God had
regard for Abel’s offering, but not Cain’s. This made Cain very jealous so he
invited Abel out to the field and while they were out there he killed him. Later
on the Lord asked him where his brother was and he replied with “I don’t know. Am
I my brothers keeper?”

Week 3A - If I Were A...
If I was a super hero I would be superman because he can
fly. If I could fly I wouldn’t have to worry about paying for a car or gas or
insurance or any of that stuff. If I wanted to go to Florida I could be there
and back super fast without even having to purchase an airline ticket and pay
for my luggage and stuff. He could also probably get any girl he wanted so that
would be really nice. If I were a super hero I would definitely have a hot
girlfriend. Probably Carrie Underwood or some model.
