Week 6A - Unanswerable Questions

The first murderer ever was Cain. He murdered his brother Abel. It is written in the bible in Genesis 4. Cain was in charge of cultivating the land and Abel was a shepherd. They both made sacrifices to God.  Cain gave Him some of the fruit of the land that he grew. Abel sacrificed some of his firstborn of his flock. God had regard for Abel’s offering, but not Cain’s. This made Cain very jealous so he invited Abel out to the field and while they were out there he killed him. Later on the Lord asked him where his brother was and he replied with “I don’t know. Am I my brothers keeper?”
